Oracle announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Taleo Corporation, a leading provider of cloud-based talent management. The transaction amounted to $ 1.9 billion is expected to close mid-year 2012, Oracle’s offer is 18% higher than the value of Taleo securities on NASDAQ. Taleo’s talent management cloud helps organizations attract, develop, motivate and retain human capital to improve performance and management, development, and rewards to enable enterprises to obtain the information needed to take advantage of the most critical.
