The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is warning that more than 300,000 users could lose access to the Internet of from July 9, 2012. In this case systems infected with a virus DNS Changer will be in danger. In November last year, the FBI employees arrested six citizens of Estonia, on suspicion of fraud on the Internet, thousands of infected DNS Changer PCs worldwide were used by a group of hackers for fraud. According to the FBI, the hackers used the virus to redirect users to their own websites on which they placed advertisements. The hackers were paid for advertising information, views on these resources. Thus, they illegally earned about $ 14 million. According to Interfax, exposing the hacker network, the FBI activated temporary resources in order to avoid an immediate disconnect from the Internet of infected computers, and give time for users to clear the files from the virus. The FBI confiscated the infected servers (computers infected with virus go to the network through this server) and replaced them. On July 9, the FBI will close temporary services, and called users around the world to check if your computer infected. To that end, the Bureau has announced the creation of a special website (www.dcwg.org).
