Social network Facebook will acquire the service Face.com, which is designed to recognize individuals in the photos. It is reported on the official blog of website Face.com. Face.com, whose technologies are considered one of the best in the world, offers mobile and computer apps designed for facial- recognition. Among the special programs of the service there is Photo Tagger, which automatically provides facial-recognition of the photo and the Photo Finder, which enables users to find the photos where his or his friends’ images captured. Face.com was founded in 2007 and its headquarters is located in Israel. The amount of the deal was not disclosed, however according to various reports, it can range from $80 to $100 million.
