IBM Corporation has opened a new smart data center in Canada. Project IBM Canada Leadership Data Centre, implemented with the support of Ontario Government, cost the company $ 90 million. The Data center was opened in the City of Barrie, where previously many most technologically advanced Canadian IT plants were located and formed an appropriate business community. IBM says that the new data center meets all requirements in terms of security, data transfer and fault tolerance and the new data center will employ about two dozen people. Note that150 jobs created through the April 2012 launch of the IBM Canada Research and Development Centre network, and within the project, employed over 150 people.
