Experts at Seoul National University have developed a technology that makes it possible to increase the capacity of lithium-ion batteries a minimum of 3 times, İTAR-TASS reports. To increase the capacity of the batteries was made possible due to replacement of tin cathode elements with specially created nanostructures of iron oxides and manganese. The novelty also has enhanced ability to repeated recharging. Scientists say that after prolonged use, the loss in capacity of new type batteries does not exceed 0.5 percent.
